A driver was transported to the hospital in a rollover crash on Veronawalk Circle near Emilia Lane in Naples Saturday evening.
Fire crews responded to the incident after the car flipped on its roof during a crash that happened at 11:10 p.m. Witnesses said fire crews were at the scene extricating the driver from the wreck.
Witnesses said the driver was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Fire crews have not confirmed the extent of the injuries.
No other information was immediately available.
Because of the severity of the crash, it took 2 tow trucks and 2 fire rescue vehicles to clear the wreckage.
Officials said they are still investigating the circumstances that led to the crash.
