A 23-Year-Old Immokalee Woman was Killed While Two Others Suffered Injuries After a Monday Morning Crash on State Road 29, Officials Said.
According to troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol, they responded to the crash on SR-29, about three miles north of County Road 858, just after 6 a.m.
Officials said the 23-year-old Immokalee woman was traveling north on SR-29 with an 18-year-old Immokalee teen when their SUV crossed over into the southbound lanes and hit the front of a 33-year-old Lehigh Acres man’s car.
Authorities disclosed that the 23-year-old woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died. Her passenger suffered critical injuries and the Lehigh Acres man was seriously injured, troopers said.
Troopers are investigating the crash.
