According to Law Enforcement Officials, a crash on Florida’s Turnpike has left a FedEx driver critically injured.
According to the news release by authorities, the accident started when two cars crashed on Florida’s Turnpike in Lauderhill. A FedEx truck in route struck one of the cars that stayed on the road after the first crash which then caused the cab of the truck to fall off.
EMS arrived to the scene of the accident soon after it happened and administered on-site first aid to the injured victims. Emergency crews reported that driver of the truck received critical injuries and was taken to the nearest hospital. The report also says that no one was injured in the previous crash that happened which knocked the cab of the FedEx truck to fall off.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and say that no further details were released.
