Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Reported that a 20-Year-Old Motorcyclist was Killed in a Crash with a Car on San Jose Boulevard, Just South of Loretto Road in Mandarin.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Alexander Dennis died after the crash with a Volkswagen. It was reported that the driver of the Volkswagen car was not injured.
Report says due to the impact and extent of the accident, the southbound lanes of San Jose in Mandarin were closed for several hours.
Further information on the cause of the crash has not been made available by the authorities. Meanwhile, the motorcycle-car remains under investigation.
Police said this was the 39th traffic fatality in Duval County this year. According to crash reports, there have been five deadly crashes since 2016 near this area of San Jose Boulevard.
