If you have a loved one in a nursing home, they are most likely there because they need consistent, around-the-clock care that they are not capable of providing for themselves. While most nursing home residents receive quality care and live comfortably, abuse and neglect are legitimate issues in nursing homes. Certain abusive behaviors can lead to injuries such as bone fractures and breaks, especially in residents who are already frail.
The Jacksonville bone fractures and breaks lawyers at the Law Offices of Anidjar & Levine represent injured nursing home residents and their families. If your loved one’s injury was the result of abuse or neglect, our legal team can determine who is responsible and pursue compensation.

Nursing Home Abuse or Neglect in Jacksonville, Florida
The Centers for Medicine & Medicaid Services report that nursing homes have a high standard of care when it comes to looking after patients. If a loved one suffered a fractured or broken bone during their residency at a nursing home, we can determine who is responsible. Your Jacksonville bone fractures and breaks lawyer can collect evidence by reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing other residents.
We may be able to hold multiple parties accountable for your loved one’s condition, including:
- An individual caretaker
- The caregiver’s boss, manager, or team leader
- The facility itself
Your legal team can also consult with a third-party medical professional to learn more about your loved one’s physical condition. For example, if your loved one was not receiving the nutrition they needed to stay healthy, and this deficiency contributed to their injuries, this could provide further insight into who can be held liable.
Our Jacksonville nursing home abuse lawyer wants to get started advocating on your family’s behalf today. To learn more about your options in a free case review, call the Law Offices of Anidjar & Levine today.
The Damages You and Your Loved One Could Recover

We will help you fight for compensation that includes money for:
- Transfer to a safer living environment
- Medical bills, including the cost of medications
- Pain and suffering and inconvenience
