The victim and a 52-year-old man were riding on a moped when they were struck by a dark GMC Yukon at the intersection of Edgewood Avenue West and Ribault Road, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

She later died at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She and the driver of the moped were thrown off. A silver, older-model Oldsmobile then ran over her. Both vehicle drivers left the scene and did not stop to help the injured moped riders.
