Motorcyclist Transported To Hospital After Estero Crash

A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital following a crash in Estero.

Estero Fire Rescue said the accident which occurred at the intersection of Corkscrew Road and Estero Town Commons Road involved a motorcycle and a car.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Officials did not release the name of the injured motorcyclist or the identity of the driver of the car.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area. Authorities said the cause of the crash remains unknown and that an investigation is ongoing.
