According to authorities, the crash happened between a truck with a male driver, and a car with a male driver and female passenger. The car was being driven by a man with his daughter. The truck impacted the side of the car, which caused the driver to lose control and the vehicle to flip over. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. The daughter died shortly after being taken to the hospital.
The driver of the truck was uninjured. He remained at the scene of the crash to speak to the authorities.
