Authorities are investigating a ghastly accident that led to a man sustaining critical injuries. The accident happened on I-75 and involved two vehicles.
As a result of the crash, the two vehicles suffered considerable damage. A minivan suddenly crashed into the back of a Chevrolet, officials said. Subsequently, the driver of the Chevrolet swerved to avoid hitting another car; the latter had slowed down upon hearing the screeching of tires.
The driver of the Chevrolet sustained critical injuries, while the driver of the minivan sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Consequently, medical responders immediately transported the critically injured driver to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, emergency crew attended to the driver of the minivan due to the degree of his injuries.
Because of the crash, officials advised commuters to take alternative routes. Traffic was seen building up gradually, but all lanes have since reopened.
Authorities have not released details of the victims at this time.
Marc Anidjar, from the Law Firm of Anidjar and Levine, comments on this crash: “We are sorry to hear about this serious accident in the Miami area that left a man critically injured. When we are driving, accidents can happen suddenly and seemingly out of nowhere. Rear-end accidents are one of the most dangerous kinds of accidents. Often, when a person is rear-ended they are completely taken off-guard and have not had an opportunity to brace for an impact. Rear-end accidents often lead to serious back and neck injuries and long-term pain and suffering. We hope everyone involved in this crash has a speedy recovery.”
