The Florida Board of Bar Examiners Has Stringent Criteria
The Supreme Court of Florida tasked the Florida Board of Bar Examiners with handling admission to the Florida Bar. There are two general parts of earning admission:
- Passing the Florida Bar Examination
- Proving good moral character and fitness
The first part of this equation is relatively straightforward; you must successfully complete the test to be admitted to the Bar. It is the second part where judgment and discretion come into play. According to the Florida Bar, the state requires a very high standard in its character and fitness examination because it is their duty to “protect the public and safeguard the judicial system.”
A Florida professional regulation lawyer for law students understands how stringent this standard can be, and how hard it may be to overcome a past mistake, misunderstanding, or false allegation.
Our team has been through this process and helped countless others who faced the same sort of challenges as you do right now, we may be able to:
- Present evidence to show your good moral character
- Counter any false allegations against you
- Mitigate other concerns the Board of Bar Examiners may have about your ethics and fitness
