A Pedestrian was Airlifted to the Hospital by Rescue Crews After Being Struck in Miami Gardens by a Driver who Fled the Scene.
Miami Gardens Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded to the crash which happened at the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and 207th Street, at around 7:45 p.m., Monday.
Officials said the victim’s injuries were severe.
The patient has been airlifted from the scene.
Officials did not reveal the cause of the crash, but said the incident remains under investigation.
