One Person was Killed and Five Others Injured in a Wrong-Way Accident in Southwest Miami-Dade on a Sunday Afternoon.
Florida Highway Patrol say the accident occurred when the driver of a white Mercedes Benz heading east in the westbound lanes of Quail Roost Drive was involved in a collision near SW 113th Avenue that set off a chain reaction crash.
Five vehicles were involved in the crash with a total of 10 people involved, injuring five.
One of those involved in the crash was a 58-year-old father and his son inside a white Hyundai sedan. The son, who was in the front passenger seat, died on the scene. His father was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
