According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Golden Gate man dies after Nissan Frontier struck a car and then a tree on Logan Boulevard South.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a 50-year-old Golden Gate man died after a two-vehicle crash on Logan Boulevard South. The two-vehicle accident happened at Urban Estates.
It was reported that a Nissan Frontier was traveling in the inside lane and a Nissan Altima was traveling in the outside lane of northbound Logan Boulevard South. For reasons unknown, the Frontier drifted to the right, striking the rear of the Altima, FHP said. Troopers then reported that the Frontier went off the roadway then hit a tree.
Report says the driver of the Frontier was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died. The Highway Patrol report shows it’s unclear whether he was wearing a seat belt.
According to the report, the driver of the Altima was able to come to a stop on the shoulder of Logan Boulevard South after the crash and was not injured.
