A Jacksonville Teenager was Killed While an Infant was Hurt After a Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95 North Friday.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol said that at approximately 8:55 a.m., a 17-year-old driver was traveling northbound on the I-95 entrance ramp from Airport Road when he struck a tractor-trailer traveling in the righthand lane of the highway.
Troopers say the young driver’s vehicle then rotated, colliding with two additional vehicles and eventually overturned.
The teenage driver and 1-year-old passenger were transported to UF Health Downtown. Officials later revealed that the teenager had died.
Troopers say no other injuries were reported.
