Broward Sheriff’s Office Reported that a Teenage Boy Died Near Plantation when his Lexus Struck a Car, a Utility Pole and then Rolled Over.
According to the crash report, the 16-year-old boy was speeding in a Lexus with two friends, a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old when the fatal accident occurred.
The 16-year-old teen was identified as Jonathan Guerra. He was pronounced dead on the scene at the 4900 block of Peters Road near Plantation.
It was reported that the driver of the Lexus, 17-year-old Frailyn Rodriguez of Fort Lauderdale “suffered serious bodily injuries” and was taken to Broward Health Medical Center. The 15-year-old, Taleb Suarez, was also transported to the medical center together with the driver. Suarez’s injuries were described as not life threatening.
This is has reported by BSO, “The black Lexus was traveling eastbound on Peters Road at a high rate of speed when it lost control and struck a blue Subaru. The Lexus then crashed into a utility pole and flipped over onto its roof.”
