Two Severely Injured In An Accident Involved A Car And Motorcycle On Soutel Drive

Police spokesman said two people have been severely injured after a vehicle-motorcycle accident on Soutel Drive.

The motorcyclist, a 32-year-old man, was severely injured and was taken to the hospital, EMS said. The passenger of the motorcycle had her leg crushed by the Nissan. It was reported that EMS quickly helped pull her out from under the vehicle.

Report says she is currently in a critical condition. Meanwhile, the 65-year-old driver of the Honda did not suffer any injuries.

According to authorities, a Nissan Sentra hit a motorcycle while attempting to make a turn. The vehicle was making a right turn onto Gibson Avenue from Soutel Drive when the accident occurred.

The Nissan driver had started to turn right when it lost control and headed in the direction of the motorcycle. The Nissan struck the motorcycle that was carrying a driver and a passenger, police said.

Police are still investigating the accident.  No charges have been filed at this time.
