Police Report that Two People were Injured in a Two-Vehicle Accident that Took Place on Edgewood Avenue North After a Vehicle Failed at Trying to Pass Another Car.
According to police, the accident happened on the Edgewood Avenue North where two vehicles, a Toyota Highlander and a Toyota Corolla, collided as they were travelling southbound on the driveway.
The 32-year-old female driver of a Toyota Highlander was attempting to overtake the slower moving Toyota when she lost control, crossed the center curb and hit the car. The crash caused injuries to the passengers inside the Corolla. Police did not give an official statement saying who was at fault in the accident and are currently investigating the incident.
Reports say that there were two passengers in the Toyota Corolla who suffered minor injuries and were treated by paramedics at the scene. No information about the occupants of the Toyota Highlander was given at the time the authorities reported the incident.
