A Woman has Died Following a Crash Along Hallandale Beach Boulevard Between 40th and 48th Avenue In Pembroke Park.
Witnesses say a car was traveling eastbound on Hallandale Beach Boulevard when it lost control and went airborne, crashing into a shopping plaza.
Authorities said the female driver of the car lost control and was ejected from her vehicle. She was pronounced dead on the scene by first responders.
The crash also led to the damage of six parked vehicles. One of those vehicles was pushed through the front doors of Thirsty’s bar.
Employees of Thirsty’s said off-camera they were closed and cleaning up when the crash occurred.
Broward Sheriff’s Office units blocked part of the roadway for much of Sunday morning.
An investigation is ongoing into what caused the crash.
