A woman was killed after being ejected from a car during a crash in Collier County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened along Westclox Street in Immokalee just after 6 p.m.
The car was driven by a 24-year-old man while the woman, also 24, was riding in the passenger seat. The driver was approaching a curve while traveling east on Westclox and took the turn incorrectly, troopers said. The car traveled off the road, hit vegetation, and overturned, landing on its roof.
