Two People Suffered Injuries After a Truck Slammed Into a Tree and Power Pole on Immokalee Road near 40th Street NE in Golden Gate Estates on Saturday.
Authorities confirmed that the crash shut down Immokalee Road near Everglades Boulevard while crews worked, but Florida Highway Patrol said there are no longer roadblocks in the area.
Troopers said two people were taken to the hospital after the crash with non-life-threatening injuries. A 5-year-old boy and two-year-old girl inside the truck were not injured.
FHP says the crash remains under investigation and are yet to reveal the cause of the incident.
