Report says a 73-year-old John Revenaugh was traveling eastbound along 2281 Starratt Road when he skidded off the road and crashed into a tree.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the 73-year-old man has been identified as the victim in a fatal accident that happened in North Jacksonville.
It was tweeted by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department that a person, later identified as John Revenaugh, was found trapped inside a vehicle. The report says he was with serious injuries in the vehicle in the 2200 block of Starratt Road. Later tweets by JFRD reported that he had died.
The crash incidence is still an active investigation, as FHP tries to determine the cause of the crash.
It was also reported according to JSO that this crash is the 12th reported traffic fatality this year.
