The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a 23-year-old woman from Fontainebleau and her passenger were injured in a single vehicle accident on Northwest 7th Street at Flagami.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, she was driving westbound in a 2000 Honda CRV at Westside when she attempted to avoid a collision with another vehicle. The accident occurred on the westbound lanes of Northwest 7th Street.
Her car went off the left-hand side of the road, where it overturned. The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, sustained moderate injuries. Her passenger, a 21-year-old woman from Fontainebleau, was also injured in the accident.
They were both transported by paramedics to a hospital in Miami for treatment.
The Florida Highway Patrol and Miami Police Department are both investigating the accident.
