Police said rescue crews responded to a crash involving a school bus early Tuesday morning in Cape Coral.
According to the Lee County School District, a car hit the front of a Lee County school bus at the intersection of Durden Parkway and Burnt Store Road.
The crash caused both directions of Burnt Store Road to be shut down as officers with the Cape Coral Police Department worked to clear the scene.
No students were on board at the time of the crash and the driver of the bus was not injured.
The driver of the car was injured in the crash.
