At Least One Person Suffered Serious Injuries in an Early Morning Crash in Cape Coral on Thursday, Officials Said.
Officers with the Cape Coral Police Department said they responded to reports of a crash involving a semi-truck and a car at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Santa Barbara Boulevard just after 1 a.m. on Thursday.
Authorities said the crash caused all of the eastbound lanes of Veterans Parkway to close, but they reopened just after 3 a.m.
Additional information about what caused the crash or how many people were involved is not known.
Three tow trucks and one fire truck were at the scene to help clear the debris from the crash.
