Biography
Nicholas P. Basco, Esq. is a trial lawyer with the Property Litigation Division at the Law Office of Anidjar & Levine, P.A. Mr. Basco and his staff pursue claims on behalf of homeowners against their insurance companies when they improperly deny of claims, underpay claims and commit bad faith. As a seasoned trial attorney, Mr. Basco is ready to help you through every aspect of your insurance claim, from initial claim reporting to trial and verdict.
Nick started his career as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County. During his seven-year of service, Nick tried over sixty jury trials to verdict as well as hundreds of bench trials and was a member of the Homicide and Traffic Homicide Investigation Units. After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Nick served for two years as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Miami where he continued trial work defending the City and its employees in State and Federal Court. After leaving the government sector, Nick represented insurance companies in various lawsuits, including defending lawsuits against homeowners claims. After two years representing over fifteen different insurance companies, Nick joined Anidjar & Levine to help protect homeowners and insure their rights are fairly represented in court.
Mr. Basco received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004 from Loyola University, New Orleans and his Juris Doctor degree in 2007 from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Mr. Basco is admitted to practice law in all courts throughout the State of Florida, the District of Columbia and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
Mr. Basco is also an appointed member of the 17th Judicial Circuit’s Grievance Committee “F” and the Code & Rules of Evidence Committee for the Florida Bar.
