Scott Bonavita

Biography

Scott Bonavita is a senior personal injury trial attorney in the Tampa office of Anidjar & Levine. He is dedicated to helping injured clients hold negligent parties and insurance companies accountable. With more than two decades of courtroom honed experience, his practice is built on integrity, determination, and results.
Mr. Bonavita earned his J.D. and M.S. in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in 2001and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Florida in 1998. He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the State of Colorado, and in all federal courts in Florida including the Southern, Northern, and Middle Districts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

He began his legal career as a prosecutor in the State Attorney’s Office working closely with victims, handling jury trials, prosecuting felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases. He later worked for big insurance companies defending complex personal injury and first-party property claims. That perspective allows him to anticipate defense case handling strategies and tactics, positioning him to aggressively advocate for his clients, maximizing recovery and avoiding unnecessary delays.

Mr. Bonavita has also been Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator for over a decade. This experience arms him with the tools to thoroughly prepare cases for maximum value settlement while always remaining ready to take matters to trial. His courtroom acumen, strategic insight, and relentless focus ensure that clients receive aggressive, results-driven representation at every stage of their case.
Outside the office, Mr. Bonavita is an Ironman Augusta 70.3 and Ironman Boulder finisher, avid athlete, and a former professional soccer player for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. His discipline, endurance, and competitive mindset translate directly into the relentless advocacy he brings to every client he represents.
