In the state of Florida, pedestrians have the right of way while in a marked crosswalk. Unfortunately, not all drivers respect this law. Other times, drivers are reckless or just do not pay attention. For a pedestrian, the results can be devastating, both physically and financially.
If you were injured while walking on or near a roadway, you have the right to hold the responsible party liable for your injuries. At the Law Offices of Anidjar & Levine, we can help prove liability and pursue damages for your injuries.

- Jewelry and accessories, such as sunglasses, smart watches, clothing, or shoes
Emotional Damages
Depending upon the severity of your injuries you may also be able to recover non-economic damages. These types of damages are compensation for the pain and suffering you experienced. A pedestrian accident lawyer can estimate the level of these types of damages in your case.
Wrongful Death Damages

Statute of Limitations in Pedestrian Accident Cases
The state of Florida has outlined a statute of limitations on all type of personal injury and wrongful death claims. For pedestrian accidents, this limit is set at two years.
In most cases, this means you have two years from the date of your pedestrian accident to pursue damages in court. We understand that two years sounds like a great deal of time. However, our team needs time to gather evidence to support your case. Therefore, it is critical to see legal representative as soon as possible following your injuries.
If you are nearing the end of the statute of limitations for your case, we may be able to file a fast lawsuit to protect your legal rights.
