A 30-Year-Old Woman was Killed as She was Walking Along the North Edge of Hunting Club Avenue in Hendry County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by a 33-year-old Clewiston man heading north collided with the LaBelle woman near the intersection of South Datil Street.
The Clewiston man veered off the roadway and collided with a tree after striking the woman, authorities said. The woman died on the scene.
Officials did not disclose what caused the crash but revealed that the incident remained under investigation.
