Miami EMS crews reportedly found shattered glass and twisted metal when responding to a severe accident along eastbound Northwest 62nd Street.
The report says the victims in an SUV say the driver of a pickup truck ran them off Northwest 62nd Street. It was reported that the driver of the pickup was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.
Further reports indicated that the truck clipped the back of their Ford Escape. This caused their SUV to spin out of control and land in the grass median. The couple and their dog appeared to be okay, even though the female passenger said she may have injured her back.
It was reported that the damage was much worse for the truck that hit them. Upon impact, the truck lost control and went off the road, hit a tree then came to a stop at the edge of a creek.
A man, who was driving, and a child appeared to be unconscious.
The report says an officer at the scene said one person was transported to the hospital. However, authorities have not confirmed how many people were in the truck, nor their identity.
