A head-on crash reportedly happened when a driver of a car swerved in an attempt to avoid hitting a dog on White Boulevard but crashed into another car.
It was reported that the crash happened on White Boulevard near 25th Street SW in Naples.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol crash report, an 18-year-old Tyler James Von Holle was the driver that swerved into an oncoming lane in order to avoid hitting a dog. He was reportedly driving a Jeep that entered the opposite lane of traffic, hitting 27-year-old David James Bartkoske’s pickup truck.
Report says both Naples men were taken to hospitals. According to the report, Von Holle is in critical condition and Bartkoske also was reported to be in serious condition.
Troopers are investigating the crash to determine if there will be any charges.
