
A woman was reportedly passed and another was hospitalized in a rollover crash on the Sawgrass Expressway in Broward County.
Florida Highway Patrol report says the major incident occurred in the southbound lanes of the Expressway near Atlantic Boulevard when a Hyundai Tucson and Honda Accord collided. Report also says Florida Highway Patrol responded promptly to this rollover accident.
It was reported that traffic is back to normal on the Sawgrass Expressway in Broward after lanes were closed for hours following a deadly crash.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash left debris scattered along the highway, a silver Hyundai on its roof in the middle of the lanes and a black Honda with heavy rear damage. The Honda also received front damage from colliding with the guardrail.
Report says the Honda’s driver who died on the road has been identified as 38-year-old woman, Erika Sensebe, of Weston.
The other driver, 37-year-old Janice Henrietta Ryder, from Coral Springs was taken to Northwest Medical Center for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
