A Lehigh Acres Teen Remains Medically Sedated After He was Found Unresponsive Along a Roadway Wednesday Afternoon.
Eighteen-year-old Brandon Lima was riding an ATV on 52nd Street SW when, all of a sudden, he was on the ground unconscious and far away from his ATV.
Reports reveal that this wasn’t his first accident this past week.
Just 24 hours earlier, Lima slammed into a car parked in a driveway on Tuesday evening.
This crash happened just down the road from where he was found unconscious and across the street from where his father lives.
“We were sitting in my living room watching TV and next thing you know we heard this big bang,” said Hazrat Sahadat, whose car was struck on Tuesday.
Sahadat’s security cameras captured the crash.
Lima reportedly swerved to miss a dog, which he ultimately killed. That’s when he lost control, slamming into Sahadat’s Nissan Altima parked in his driveway.
Lima’s father said that the 18-year-old was back on an ATV the next day.
Brandon was found unresponsive on the side of the road by a passerby.
He was rushed to Lee Memorial Hospital where he was intubated.
