One person was injured after a truck overturned in Downtown Jacksonville.

According to a witness of the crash, the truck was traveling under a bridge on Bay Street with its back raised, causing it to hit the bridge and overturn. Authorities said the truck appears to be the only vehicle involved.

The driver had minor injuries, the witness said.

The holes in the truck’s windshield came from bystanders who broke it to turn the vehicle off, the witness explained.

However, it is unclear how a lamppost went through the windshield.

Comment from Anidjar and Levine:

Marc Anidjar, from the Law Firm of Anidjar and Levine, comments on this crash. “A driver suffered minor injuries after this unfortunate single-truck accident that happened on Bay Street. When you are harmed during a vehicle crash, it is important to contact a lawyer who has experience in handling motor vehicle accident cases. The process of collecting damages from the party at fault is often complicated; however, our firm has the experience needed to navigate these types of claims.”
