A spokesman for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department said a crash happened between two vehicles involving six people on East Sunrise Boulevard.
The spokesman added that a 34-year-old man driving a Subaru Outback struck a vehicle on East Sunrise Boulevard at Lake Ridge. The man reportedly struck a 2010 Nissan Sentra driven by a 23-year-old woman.
The report says after the accident the Nissan was severely damaged while the Subaru rolled over, police confirmed. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
EMS reported that four occupants were in the Subaru when the accident happened. There were two female occupants in the Nissan, an officer added.
It was reported that the six people involved in the crash sustained varying degrees of injuries. The occupants of the Nissan reportedly sustained traumatic injuries as well as the driver.
The other two passengers in the Subaru sustained minor injuries. They have all been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police are still investigating this accident. No other information has been made available to the public.
