Wrong-Way Car Accident On NW 27th Avenue Killed A Clergy Man Police is investigating the death of a 52-year-old pastor in a wrong-way car accident on the southbound lanes of State Highway 9 at Allapattah.

Miami Police Department is investigating the death of a 52-year-old pastor in a wrong-way car accident on the southbound lanes of NW 27th Avenue.

Officials say a former pastor in Longwood was killed in a deadly crash that happened on the southbound lanes of NW 27th Avenue. Eyewitnesses said, he was traveling southbound on the highway when his vehicle was struck by a driver who was traveling in the wrong direction on the road. The driver apparently entered the road heading the  wrong-way leading to the fatal collision.

Troopers said, emergency responders quickly arrived to the scene of the accident to transport the pastor to the hospital but he was pronounced dead due to the multiple injuries he sustained in the crash. Authorities said, the other driver, a father of 10, suffered life-threatening injuries and was also transported to the nearest hospital for medical treatment. No further information about his current condition has been released to the press.

The State Highway 9 southbound lane was shut down for traffic workers to clear the wreckage and debris from the crashed vehicles.
