Fort Lauderdale Police said a 25-year-old woman sustained severe injuries when struck by a pickup truck while riding her bicycle on Commercial Boulevard.
The woman lost control when a 2012 Nissan Frontier sideswiped her bicycle into the side of the road. Report says she was thrown off the bicycle when the crash happened.
