Vehicle Crashes Into Cape Coral Home %%excerpt%% Cape Coral

Cape Coral police are investigating after a vehicle crashed into a home early Saturday.

Authorities said the incident happened along SE 20th Court near Viscaya Parkway at around 6 a.m.

An eyewitness said a red Nissan Altima hit the home, destroying its window.

Neighbors stated that this is the third time in five years a vehicle plowed into the home.

“Emotionally the owner is very distraught,” said a neighbor. “This is the third time and it’s hard. She would like to have something done but no one‘s doing anything. In the morning, early mornings there are several senior couples that walk and could have been hit. Scary.”

Officials said no one in the home was injured.

There was no information if anyone in the vehicle was injured.

The home is still damaged from previous crashes.
