Fort Lauderdale Police Department spokesman said a crash happened between two vehicles, involving six people on East Sunrise Boulevard.
A 34-year-old man towing a Caravan struck another vehicle on East Sunrise Boulevard at Lake Ridge, spokesman said. The man reportedly struck a 2010 Nissan Sentra, driven by a 23-year-old woman, with his Subaru Outback.
After the accident, the Nissan was severely damaged while the SUV with the Caravan rolled over, police confirmed. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
According to EMS, four occupants were in the Subaru SUV when the accidence happened. There were two occupants in the Nissan, both of the occupants were females, officer added.
The six people involved in this crash sustained varying degrees of injuries. The occupants of the Nissan reportedly sustained traumatic injuries as well as the driver and a passenger in the SUV.
The other two passengers in the SUV sustained minor injuries. They have all been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment by EMS.
Police is still investigating this accident at the moment. No other information has been made available to the public.
