Two Teens Survived A Fatal Accident Near Atlantic Boulevard Estates

Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that a teenaged boy died near Atlantic Boulevard Estates when his Lexus struck a car, a utility pole and then rolled over.

According to the crash report, the 16-year-old deceased was speeding in a Lexus with two friends, a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old, when the fatal accident occurred.

The 16-year-old teen was pronounced dead on the scene on Lee Road near Atlantic Boulevard Estates.

It was reported that the driver of the Lexus, 17-year-old male of Fort Lauderdale “suffered serious bodily injuries” and was taken to the nearest hospital. The 15-year-old male was also transported to the hospital. The 15-year-old’s injuries were described as non life-threatening.

This is has reported by JSO, “The black Lexus was traveling northbound on Lee Road at a high rate of speed when it lost control and struck a blue Subaru. The Lexus then crashed into a utility pole and flipped over onto its roof.”
