Two Teenagers Were Seriously Injured In An Accident On Riverland Road In Fort Lauderdale

Law enforcement officials say that two teenagers were severely injured in a two-vehicle accident on Riverland Road.

According to reports, the accident happened on Riverland Road with a car and a pick up truck.  

Report says, the pickup truck crossed the center traffic line and t-boned the car as it was driving by. There were two teenage occupants in the car when the accident occurred.

Emergency responders arrived on scene shortly after the impact. Both of the teenagers were trapped inside of the car and had to be pulled out by the rescue team.

The two teenage victims were administered first aid and then transported to the nearest hospital. No information about the condition of the pickup truck driver was given at the time of this report.

Police say the accident remains under investigation and no other details were given.
