Law enforcement officials say that two teenagers were severely injured in a two-vehicle accident on Duval Station Road in Jacksonville.

According to reports, the accident happened on Duval Station Road which involved a Ford Focus and a pickup truck.

Report says the pickup truck crossed the center traffic line and t-boned the Ford as it was driving by. There were two occupants in the Ford, which were reportedly teenagers, when the accident occurred.

Emergency responders arrived on scene shortly after the impact. Both of the teenagers were trapped inside of the car and had to be pulled out by the rescue team.

The two teenage victims were administered first aid and then transported to the nearest hospital. No information about the condition of the pickup truck driver was given at the time of this report.

Police say the accident remains under investigation and no other details were given.
