Florida Highway Patrol say two lanes are blocked on Normandy Boulevard due to a crash that led to injuries.
According to officials, the crash happened Saturday night on Interstate 295 southbound at Normandy Boulevard. The accident was between a dark blue Honda Accord and a white Nissan Pathfinder.
A vehicle overturned as a result of the crash and one person has been transported to the hospital after being ejected from the car, FHP said.
Because of the severity of the crash it took 2 tow trucks and 5 fire rescue vehicles to clear the wreckage. At this time there is no indication of which driver was at fault and no citations were issued from the crash.

Marc Anidjar, from the Law Firm of Anidjar and Levine, comments on this crash. “One person suffered serious injuries in a Normandy Boulevard accident. In case you or a family member was involved in an auto accident you need to act quickly. Get the names and phone numbers of any witnesses that were at the scene. Take photos of the crash scene and the damage to your vehicle or property. Contact anyone in the area that may have video surveillance of what occurred. Finally, you should contact a car accident attorney to help guide you through this difficult process.”
