A car crash has resulted in two people sustaining injuries in Hialeah. The crash occurred in the 800 block of East 45th Street.

Sky 10 was above the area of the crash as blood could be seen on the ground not too far from a pickup truck that was involved in the accident.

According to the authorities, a Nicklaus Children’s Hospital ambulance was in the area, stopped and then called Hialeah Fire Rescue, providing help to the victims until authorities arrived. The drivers of the two vehicles sustained serious injuries, paramedics said.

One of the passengers, however, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Both drivers were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center having sustained serious injuries.

Details of the victims are yet to be released by the authorities.
