Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a 43-year-old man suffered injuries in an accident on Arble Drive.
According to police report, a man was driving eastbound on Arble Drive in a 2009 GMC Sonoma. A 2007 Dodge Charger, driven by a 33-year-old male, traveled westbound in the eastbound path of the road.
The accident occurred around the area of Arlingwood. The Dodge Charger allegedly struck the GMC vehicle head-on, though at a fairly moderate speed.
Both men sustained moderate injuries and paramedics transported them by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, both men wore safety belts at the time of the accident. Neither vehicle did not contain passengers.
According to prior arrest records, the Dodge driver had been previously arrested for driving while intoxicated, aggravated assault, and reckless driving, however, these charges were quite some time ago.
Police are investigating the incident.
Glen Levine, from the Law Firm of Anidjar and Levine, comments on this crash. “This was a serious accident that led to two serious injuries. A severe crash could be caused by the negligence or recklessness of another driver. Our law firm is focused on uncovering the cause of the crash and what role another driver played in it. By conducting a thorough investigation, speaking with witnesses and consulting with experts, our legal team can discern how the accident was caused and who was at fault. If another driver is to blame for the loss of a loved one, a wrongful death lawsuit is a possible step.”
