Two Injured After Roosevelt Boulevard Truck-Motorcycle Accident

A motorcyclist and passenger were injured in an accident with a pickup truck on Roosevelt Boulevard, police said.

The official report states that the accident involved a motorcyclist and a pickup truck. The motorcyclist and his passenger were heading south on Roosevelt Boulevard when the accident happened.

The motorcycle was reportedly struck by a Honda pickup truck driven by a 33-year-old man from Ortega. The truck driver triggered the crash when he drove his vehicle into the path of the motorcycle.

Officials said the pickup driver failed to yield to the motorcyclist who had the right of way at the time of the crash. EMS arrived and rushed them both to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the pickup truck didn’t sustain any injuries.
