Report says two people were sent to the hospital in Miami after a three-vehicle accident at Little Haiti.

According to officials the accident happened on Northwest 62th Street at Little Haiti near iTech , Miami’s Mega Technology Magnet High School.

The cause of the accident is unknown at the moment. Officials said, the roads will be closed for a few hours to help clear the scene. This will also help to determine the series of events that took place before the accident occurred, they added.

A Miami police officer said, two people had to be transported to the hospital after the accident occurred. Three different vehicles were reportedly involved and the other occupants were uninjured. The other occupants who sustained minor injuries were treated on the scene by EMS.

Eyewitnesses are being sought and questioned before an official statement will be issued.

As reported, the accident remains under investigation. No further information has been released to the public at the time of this report.
