Law enforcement officials reported a three-vehicle accident involving a bus on Davie Boulevard, leaving two people critically injured.

According to the official news release, the crash happened when the driver of a Ford Focus traveling east on Davie Boulevard crossed into the westbound lanes and hit a Kia Sorento. The impact of the collision pushed the Kia Sorento in front of a bus and caused the two vehicles to collide.

EMS arrived at the scene of the crash and administered first aid to the victims involved. The driver of the Kia Sorento sustained critical injuries. The female driver of the Ford Focus also sustained critical injuries.

The passengers in the bus sustained minor injuries alongside the driver.

The cause of the crash remains under active investigation and the identities of the individuals involved in the crash have not been released by officials.
