Two Critically Injured In Three-Vehicle Collins Road Crash

A three-vehicle accident involving a bus on Collins Road, leaving two people critically injured, law enforcement officials said.

According to the official news release, the crash happened when the driver of a Ford Focus traveling east on Collins Road crossed into the westbound lanes and hit a Kia Sorento. Subsequently, the impact of the collision pushed the Kia Sorento in front of a bus and caused the two vehicles to collide.

JFRD arrived at the scene of the crash and administered first aid to the victims involved. The driver of the Kia Sorento sustained critical injuries. The female driver of the Ford Focus also sustained critical injuries.

Meanwhile, passengers in the bus sustained minor injuries alongside the driver.

The cause of the crash remains under active investigation and the identities of the individuals involved in the crash have not been released by officials.
