A 31-year-old male and his 20-year-old passenger sustained severe injuries after a delivery truck overturned on Veronica S Shoemaker Boulevard.
Report says a man was southbound on Veronica S Shoemaker Boulevard in a delivery truck when the accident happened. The truck driver got distracted and that caused him to veer off the left side of the road. Subsequently, he managed to return to the roadway and then veer off the right side.
As the truck maneuvered, he struck a 2014 Subaru Legacy traveling in the same direction. The driver and the passenger of the Subaru sustained severe injuries from the accident. Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. They have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities reported that the 46-year-old driver of the truck sustained serious injuries. The truck driver and the passenger have been transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The accident is under investigation at the time of reporting.
Glen Levine, from the Law Firm of Anidjar and Levine, comments on this crash. “This was an unfortunate two-vehicle accident that led to four people being hospitalized. Though uncertain, when there is a portion of the road surface that is damage, motorists can be distracted. If you combine this with a driver that possibly was distracted they can put the lives of others at risk. When a negligent driver causes a crash, he or she could be held accountable for the accident. An injured victim should seek out an experienced accident attorney to help with the collection of compensation for medical care, losses and damages.”
