It was Reported that One Person was Airlifted to a Trauma Center and Two Others were Taken to the Hospital Following a Rollover Crash.
According to a spokesperson for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the rollover crash occurred along 22 Avenue and State Road 9.
The spokesperson said, “the first arriving unit determined one patient was trapped in one of the vehicles.” He also added by saying crews assessed two other patients from the other vehicle involved in the accident. According to the report, crews worked diligently to extricate the patient that was entrapped in one of the vehicles.
From the report received from the spokesperson, first responders used several hydraulic tools and techniques to extricate the victims.
The spokesperson added, “the patient was safely removed from the vehicle and was airlifted to the trauma center.”
Traffic was shut down for a time as a result of the crash.
